Lithium battery is a type of battery that uses lithium metal or lithium alloy as positive/negative electrode material and uses a non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The advantages of lithium battery, such as extremely low self-discharge rate and steep discharge voltage, enable the pacemaker implanted in the human body to operate for a long time without recharging. Lithium batteries generally have a nominal voltage higher than 3.0 volts, making them suitable for integrated circuit power supply.








Manganese dioxide batteries are widely used in calculators, digital cameras, and watches. In order to develop better functional categories, people have studied various materials to produce unprecedented products. With the development of science and technology, lithium batteries have become the mainstream. Lithium batteries can be roughly divided into two types: lithium metal batteries and lithium-ion batteries.






Lithium ion batteries can be charged, and their safety, specific capacity, self-discharge rate and cost performance are better than lithium ion batteries. Due to limitations in their own high-tech requirements, only a few companies in countries are producing this type of lithium metal battery. Lithium battery operation principle: Lithium batteries generally use manganese dioxide as the positive electrode material, lithium metal or its alloy metal as the negative electrode material, and non-aqueous electrolyte solution.






Discharge reaction: Li MnO2=LiMnO2 Lithium battery: Lithium ion batteries generally use lithium alloy metal oxide as the positive electrode material, graphite as the negative electrode material, and non-aqueous electrolyte. The reaction on a charged positive electrode is LiCoO2=Li (1-x) CoO2 x Li xe - (electrons).
